We are here, http://goo.gl/WwseqS and here #k12socialmedia
Social media is being used to connect just about everyone in ways, both good and bad, we could hardly imagine a few years ago. Many school districts, knowing it or not, are leveraging these tools to transform work, communication, leadership, professional growth, community’s perception as well as instruction. Have you taken the time to consider the policy, procedure, technical and legal implications? Learn what questions to ask, policies to review and processes to follow that will help take away the fear, limit your exposure while realizing the positive impacts. And most importantly, learn how to set both a vision and policy for social media to enhance teaching, learning as well as communications.
While we are waiting to start let's try and learn something about one another.
